Ever wanted to run your own country in a text-based environment? Well now you can

Introducing PolitiDOS, the game that allows you to run your own country in a text-based environment. You can decide on policy and the direction of your country. Make sure to keep your people happy though, or they will begin to abandon your vision for the country or turn against it entirely.

Some useful commands:

Pass - Pass a law

Repeal - Remove a law

Stats - Check national statistics

Next - Advance to next turn

Exit - Retire

Version 0.1 is currently released. If I continue to work on this, this is what you can expect to see in future editions:

Version 0.2: Will add dynamic laws on start, as well as dynamic country names and regional statistics. It will also add law modifiers that will modify faction support marginally as each turn passes by.

Version 0.3: Will add ideological support values that will alter default law effects in relation to how the majority of citizens view specific ideologies.

Version 0.4: Will add a long list of events that will show up each turn, related to current statistics.

Version 0.5: Will add laws that change game functionality, such as the ability to actually halt elections or extend your term length.

Version 0.6: CLASSIFIED
